The war between AIs does not cease. Quality, photorealism, consistent characters, lighting… there are a plethora of arguments for and against one AI over another.
This example highlights that with will and perseverance, an AI like Stable Diffusion can achieve very realistic results at the level of MidJourney. Since the release of v6 of MidJourney, this was a point where its superiority was indisputable.
However, there is a sufficiently large community of SD fans that better models are being created for all kinds of themes. And when these models are well applied, they converge into spectacular images.
The base of the model is AfroditeXL, a model designed to generate nudes, which is very common in repositories like Civitai. However, it’s the prompt that matters more than the model. If we ask SD to generate a portrait, it will do so. There is no need to focus on the NSFW possibilities of the model.
Without adding more than the Euler type Scheduler, without any VAE or Lora, it’s already apparent what can be achieved.
