Architecture might not be the focus of the majority of generative AI users. If we visit portals dedicated to Stable Diffusion or even the public galleries of MidJourney, it’s not exactly the main subject.

It’s a pity because AI can do wonders in collaboration with architecture with just a few indications. Names like Bauhaus or Le Corbusier from the time I was a student of drawing and design echo in the writer’s head. Names such as Frank Lloyd Wright, Ricardo Bofill, Frank Gehry, Zaha Hadid, Santiago Calatrava, and many others resonate when one thinks of architecture. Architecture with a capital A.

In the next issue of Pixed Magazine, we will explore the possibilities that AI offers to create images that serve as inspiration, to turn sketches into striking images, or to achieve the final result from a detailed description.

We will explore the possibility of using AI to illustrate historical monuments and perhaps a bit beyond that, those that no longer exist today.

Not only that. Architecture also includes the interior of buildings, so we will enter them to see how to decorate them, and how the simplest complements can illustrate a space and make it warm or cold, serious or casual.

Those who see architecture as bricks and mortar miss out on a lot. It’s much more than that.

We will see it soon!
